Once upon a time there was a little girl who ran around the neighbor-hood with her sister collecting glass coke bottles for money. That girl was my sister and myself. We were poor and understood the value of some loose change. It would buy us a coke and candy bar.
You couldn't have put a monetary value on that moment for us.
That's how I feel about the books I write and the stories I share. Many of you work hard and live on tight budgets.
The difference between that coke and candy bar we brought and a book to read are however profound. The goodies are gone in a minute while the book remains with you for years.
I hope you'll feel the value of one of my books and enjoy the story for years to come.
